The Central Collegiate Hockey Association announced their players of the week for last week’s games today. Three of the four players selected have Michigan ties – Ferris State forward and Howell native Andy Huff was offensive player of the week, Western Michigan defenseman and Clay Township native Dan DeKeyser was defenseman of the week, and Livonia native Riley Barber, a forward at Miami, was rookie of the week.

Postgame® Offensive Player of the Week
Andy Huff, FSU
Jr., F (Howell, MI)
Huff had two goals in a 7-3 win over Mercyhurst on Friday and added a goal and an assist in a 3-3 tie and shootout loss to the Lakers on Saturday. He finished the weekend +2 with nine shots on goal.
Gladiator Defenseman of the Week
Dan DeKeyser, WMU
Jr. (Clay Township, MI)
DeKeyser scored a goal and assisted on the game-winner in a 2-1 win over Canisius on Saturday. He finished the weekend sweep of the Golden Griffins +1, with four blocks and 11 shots on goal.
Goaltender of the Week
Steve Thompson, UA
Sr. (Anchorage, AK)
Thompson stopped 27 shots in a 3-2 win over Merrimack on Friday at the Brice Alaska Goal Rush Tournament and made 25 saves in a 2-1 win over North Dakota in the final on Saturday. He finished the weekend with a .945 save percentage.
Gongshow Rookie of the Week
Riley Barber, MIA
F (Livonia, MI)
Barber scored a goal in a 1-1 tie and shootout win with Providence on Friday and had a goal and two assists in a 4-3 OT win over the Friars on Saturday.
