Old news by now, but the Stanley Cup Final match-up is set. Matt Greene and Alec Martinez of the Kings will take on Andy Greene of the New Jersey Devils – if you want to only focus on the Michigan natives still playing for Lord Stanley’s Cup. For wrapping up his spot in the final round of the playoffs, New Jersey’s Greene (no relation to the guy on the Los Angeles roster) is our Michi-gamer of the weekend.
Mitten natives Austin Watson and Jared Knight lost in the finals of the Memorial Cup, as the Shawinigan Cataractes topped the London Knights 2-1 in overtime.
NTDP defenseman Patrick Sieloff, expected to be a solid NHL Draft choice this summer, announced on his Twitter account that he has decided to play for the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL. Sieloff was originally committed to the Miami RedHawks.

Outside the Mitten
Martin Brodeur, who will play in his 200th NHL playoff game when the Stanley Cup Final begins Wednesday, said he is leaning towards coming back next season, no matter how his Devils fare.
The NHL.com staff takes a stab at predicting the finals. We’ll have our own later this week.
Dominik Hasek is talking about coming back. My question is simple – do any teams really want him at 47 years of age?
