Western Michigan at Michigan

Friday’s showdown between the Michigan Wolverines and Western Michigan Broncos was our game of the night. Here was the recap from the Broncos’ big road win, where Dane Walters scored with 57 seconds remaining to break a 2-2 tie.

On Saturday, things were different for the home team. After falling behind 2-1 halfway through the second period, the Wolverines rallied to score four unanswered goals, and post a 5-2 win to split the weekend series.

Notre Dame at Northern Michigan

After the Wildcats and the Fighting Irish needed a shootout to settle things Friday night, they did it all over again Saturday. Both games saw Northern Michigan winning 1-0 in shootouts, which gave them two extra points in the CCHA standings.

Bemidji State at Lake Superior State

The Lakers rebounded to pick up a 2-1 win over Bemidji State Saturday night, earning a split in the non-conference weekend series. LSSU is now 6-2-0 on the season.

Ferris State at Bowling Green
