Ferris State and Northern Michigan players land on this week’s list of top CCHA performers

Jordie Johnston, FSU – Sr., F (Rosetown, SK)

Johnston had two assists on Friday in a 4-0 win over Bowling Green. He added two goals, including the game-winner, in a 5-3 win over the Falcons on Saturday and was a +5 on the weekend.

Brett Wysopal, FSU – Sr. (LaGrange Park, IL)

Wysopal had a goal on Friday and another on Saturday, had six blocked shots, was a +5 and was part of a penalty killing unit that went 10-for-12 on the weekend as the Bulldogs swept Bowling Green

Reid Ellingson, NMU – Sr. (Cloquet, MN)

Ellingson made 44 saves in a 1-1 tie against Notre Dame on Saturday and stopped 69-of-72 shots on the weekend with a 1.50 GAA and .958 save percentage. He stopped all six shots in two shootout wins.

Tyler Biggs, MIA – F (Loveland, OH)

Biggs had an assist in a 2-1 win at Alaska on Friday and added an assist in a 2-1 win over the Nanooks on Saturday. He also blocked a shot and finished +1 in the two games.
