In the lone NHL game last night, the Toronto Maple Leafs needed a shootout to get past Winnipeg. The Jets have recorded only one win in their first five games since their move from Atlanta over the off-season.

The Wings have been doing some interesting things during their extended break. First, they went out to local businesses to surprise employees and customers during their “Hockeytown Thanks” tour. Then, yesterday, they had a team-building exercise that included guns. Big guns.
